Blue Glass Rectangle Wire Wrapped Pendant Necklace

Another beautiful blue glass wire wrap pendant from our affordable Market collection.  This blue glass pendant is wire wrapped and hangs from a long single strand silvertone necklace with turquoise shell beads and coral colored beads for accents.  The beautiful colors of turquoise and coral from the traditional southwest jewelry scheme with a decidedly modern look with the wire wrapping. The wire wrapped pendant was created by Southwest Native American Artist Fernando Padilla and the necklace was created by Chickasaw artist Stefani Padilla. 

 

Red Glass Arrowhead Wire Wrapped Pendant Necklace

This red glass wire wrapped pendant features both silvertone and goldtone wire.  There are two drops from the pendant, one is silvertone and the other is goldtone.  This arrowhead is designed to be worn by either a man or a woman (If you saw native amerian artist Fernando Padilla, Jr. at Red Earth 2011 you would have seen him modeling this particular necklace).  This wire wrapped pendant necklace is part of our Market Collection – jewelry that is designed and created from non-precious materials to be affordable, but still fashionable and and an expression of our art.

Always evolving, the newest creations to come from Southwest Native American Artist Fernando Padilla, Jr. are the wire wrapped pendants and wire wrap jewelry collection.  This necklace features a light blue glass wire wrap pendant and double strand necklace made from  light blue glass beads and silvertone beads with a toggle clasp.

If you know Fernando, then you know that he is always trying new techniques, gaining new skills, and creating new and exciting works of art.  The latest venture is stained glass.  Stained glass pendants, like Ancient Beauty above, are each created by hand.  Fernando and his wife, Stefani collaborate on each final piece as Stefani creates the beaded necklace or chain for each one.
