Happy New Year
Written by admin on January 10th, 2009Happy New Year! Amazing, simply amazing is what I have to say about having another opportunity for new beginnings this year. My prayer for one and all is that health and healing flows throughout every fiber of your life as we come to face new or “renewed” challenges in our journeys. That strength from Christ’s sacrifice floods hearts, minds, bodies, spirits, and relationships that have needed healing for such a long time; and that peace would settle down all around us, like the soft mist of God’s presence.
Its funny sometimes when I hear some one talking about needing changes in their life, wanting things to be better, what they really didn’t expect was for things to not be the same. What I’ve learned from praying to be a better person is that it’s no one else’s responsibility to make things better but me, with all the resources provided through Christ. When we pray “God help me be the person you want me to be” that means I’m allowing the discovery of the unnecessary negative behaviors and demeaning destructive patterns that have confined and defined who I have been at the times when I know I could have had better control of me. It means allowing God’s Holy Spirit to re-teach us all about what love means through us, through others throughout our journey.
But I’m sure you already knew all that I just felt like reminding us that we are not alone in this big old world, I’m here, you’re here and we both need each other, and if I haven’t told you lately I tell you now…I love you in the name of God, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Have a great year!
p/s: I apologize for the delay in getting the latest video up on the website, we are trying to download/upload or whatever, but so far it “ain’t” working just yet. I’ll let my wife handle that one she loves those types of challenges. Give us a good word from your heart, we’ll be glad to receive it.
