Since their introduction to the North American Indian tribes, horses have been held in high esteem for generations. Myths and legends of supernatural horses have inspired countless artistic creations through the Native American cultures.
We at Padilla of San Felipe recognize the love we all have for our equine neighbors. So our creative members have gone all out to bring our version of colorful celestial horses to the attention of collectors of everything Horse-related.
Using cedar for this introductory selection be on the “look-out” for designs with other quality solid woods very soon.
Three posing styles are available but each piece being uniquely and individually crafted. Never mass produced but bearing the marks of being one-of-a-kind. Master creator and designer, Fernando Padilla, oversees every detail and inspects for the highest quality as is the trademark he is recognized for.
“Sky Ponies” are made with various materials which include cedar, stains, paints, beads, fabrics, feathers, and some horse hair. They fly on a doweled pedestal made from wood, stone, tile or metals, with a height of 11”-12”, a length of 10” and bases as wide as 3 ½ ”.
